We recommend bringing your pet’s own food so that s/he may enjoy his/her regular diet without disruption. Of course, medications can be given if needed; an additional surcharge may be added if extensive care is required.

It is advisable not to feed your pet for at least four hours prior to his/her drop off time to minimize the possibility of a stomach upset. We’ll make sure s/he gets a meal as soon as s/he’s settled in.

While you're away, we offer our facility as your pet's home away from home. We welcome your pet’s bedding and toys or other items you feel would make your pet feel more at home while s/he's here. We do have bedding available should you prefer to use ours.

Ruby’s Run will bathe and dip dogs that come in with “guests”. Cats will be treated with a topical product. Owners will be charged for this service.

Requirements:

For the good health and safety of all our canine and feline guests, the following schedule and records of current immunizations and a negative fecal test for parasites(dogs only) are required:

Dogs

• Rabies - within 3 years after initial booster at about 1 1/2 years old
• Distemper/Parvo - within 3 years, after initial booster at about 1 1/2 years old
• Bordetella ( Canine Cough ) - within 6 months
• Fecal exam(must be negative) - within 1 year

Cats

• Rabies - within 3 years after initial booster at about 1 1/2 years old
• Distemper - within 3 years after initial booster at 1 1/2 years old
